Wendrsonn is the Swabian rock band number one. With their energetic folk rock, the band has revived a whole genre and set new musical standards. Hundreds of concerts, TV and radio appearances, numerous awards, six CD productions and several years in a row top 50 at the SWR1 hit parade: that is Wendrsonn.
For press and radio, Wendrsonn are one of the best live bands south of the Main. The creative Swabians playfully conquer every audience and target everything and everyone – especially themselves.
Snotty and charming singer Biggi Binder and her guys crash and throw lots of clichés overboard. Cabarettist elements unite with tragic-comic moments when singer and songwriter Markus Stricker chats and how Rumpelstiltskin hops across the stage, while devil violinist Klaus Marquardt fills his soul.
Biggi Binder not only enchants her audience vocally. In the poetic interplay with Markus embodies the perfect front duo of a collective of six creative exceptional musicians who have found their destiny. Wendrsonn deliver the ultimate soundtrack to the new Swabian self-image. Virtuoso Swabian pranks, meaning and nonsense from the land of poets, thinkers, brothers and rebels: That is “zom Lacha ond zom Heula scheee” (Nice to laugh and howl).
