It’s so beautiful around Bonfeld Castle!

Find press reports on the 8th blacksheep Festival – Live in the Bonfeld Castle Park. We’ll see you again at the 9th blacksheep Festival, which takes place from Thursday to Saturday, 20th to 22nd June 2024. SAVE THE DATE and find here some good reasons to come to us. Our media partner Heilbronner Stimme reported on the blacksheep Festival 2023 on two pages on Monday, 27th June. Culture editor Ranjo Doering writes in his commentary:

“The Blacksheep successfully defends all of these resistances (competition, the aftermath of the pandemic, inflation. . .) and remains (…) attractive. The work of the many volunteers in the cultural initiative has been worth it.”

“And Bosse? He tells how he diligently baked waffles backstage at Blacksheep – and then ate five himself. His second encore, the driving “The Last Dance”, a homage to friendship, becomes a rain dance in Bonfeld. After 90 minutes The singer then makes a confession of love: “We really have a crush on you. And we would like to come back, but then with less rain.”, Ranjo Doering, Heilbronner Stimme, June 24, 202

“The hit machine called The Hooters brings the final point in the castle park. The 43-year-old sextet from Philadelphia exudes an aura of reliability. Highly motivated Eric Bazilian (guitar), Rob Hyman (keyboards) and Co. perform classics such as “And we Danced”, “Johnny B”, “Satellite” or Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” like pearls on a necklace. New songs sound jazzier. But what counts is that 80s feeling.”, Ranjo Doering and Andreas Sommer, Heilbronner Stimme, 26th June 2023

“We have rarely experienced a festival of this size that masters the challenges of larger crowds so confidently. Even the toilets on site were always clean, and longer waiting times were only to be expected at certain peak times. The culinary offerings included various vegan/vegetarian options were as varied as the shopping opportunities, while the nearest refreshment was due to the well-spaced drinks stands usually only a few meters away. Ultimately, however, we came for the music and were happy to stay because everything around it worked so smoothly.” Markus Seibel, Hardline Magazine
