With her crystal clear voice and her likeable charisma, Eva Lind is one of the best-known and most popular classical singers of our time. Born in Innsbruck, she has already performed on the big stages of the world, such as La Scala in Milan or Carnegie Hall in New York, and has delighted audiences with duet partners such as Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and José Carreras.

With the sensational debut as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “Magic Flute” at the Vienna State Opera and as Lucia in “Lucia di Lammermoor” in Basel, a steep international career began for the then 19-year-old Eva Lind.

Since then, it is impossible to imagine the classical music scene without her. In Paris, London, New York, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Zurich, Milan, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Tokyo and Shanghai, the singer enchanted in the star roles of opera history, such as Konstanze (“The Abduction from the Seraglio”), Gilda (Rigoletto), Violetta (La Traviata), Amina (La Sonnambula), Juliette (Roméo et Juliette), Ophélie (Hamlet), Marie (La Fille du Régiment), Sophie (“Der Rosenkavalier”), Rosalinde (“Die Fledermaus”) as well as in numerous recitals and concerts. She has worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Claudio Abbado, Sir Georg Solti, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Sir Neville Marriner, Daniel Barenboim, Sir André Previn and Seji Ozawa.

As a welcome guest, Eva Lind has also appeared at the most important festivals: Salzburg Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Arena di Verona, Glyndebourne Festival, Munich Opera Festival, Schubertiade Feldkirch, Festival of Early Music in Innsbruck and many more.

Eva Lind became known to a broad public through her TV appearances. She has been presenting both classical and popular music programs on German television for many years.

An extensive discography testifies to the versatility of the artist. Eva Lind has recorded numerous complete operas (Hoffmann’s Tales, La Sonnambula, Der Freischütz, Die Zauberflöte, etc.) as well as solo and duet recitals (e.g. with José Carreras or Francisco Araiza) as well as three DVDs.
