Reunion with Fiddler’s Green

They have already been to Bonfeld six times without having played at the blacksheep festival! Fiddler’s Green were guest at our predecessor festival Folk im Schlosshof in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2010 – but never with us? We really wanted to change that. And so we are happy that the band is back – and has found a place in our line-up on Saturday, June 24, 2023. We will definitely celebrate the reunion with the musicians over a glass of Guinness.

For more than three turbulent decades, Fiddler’s Green have been among the most popular and successful formations on the European folk rock scene and have shaped the entire genre with their rousing high-energy sound. Germany’s most successful Irish Speedfolk formation celebrated their 30th band anniversary in 2020 under the catchy motto “3 Cheers for 30 Years”.
